Does the library have practice tests?

Yes, students have access to the online resource, Learning Express Library which includes tests, exams, and certifications. And the library has some testing study books in ebook format and in print to check out.

  • To access online tests, go to the Library homepage, and click on the first tile: "Resources." That will take you to the list of all the databases to which the library provides access. Click on the "L" in the alphabet string across the top. Then scroll down until you see the Learning Express Library. Search for the test or certification for which you are looking. Once you find the test you need, click on the title. If you have never used Learning Express before you will need to make an account for yourself. It doesn't have to be the same as your KCTCS username and password, but you could make it to keep everything the same to remember.
  • To access the print books or ebooks, go to the Library homepage. At the top of the homepage is a search box. Enter the test you are looking for, i.e. RN practice, or TEAS practice. The ebooks will come up first. You can view those online.
  • If you prefer a print copy, after you have searched, go to the column on the right side of the page. At the top of that column is listed "Tweak Your Results" and then scroll down to Library. Click Library and that will expand. Choose the campus from which you would like to check out a book. That will filter your search to just that campus print books.

For additional assistance, please open a chat box, if during library hours, or go to the About Us page from the library homepage to submit a question of find the phone number for your campus library.
